KCB account holders can deposit money directly to their bank accounts from the M-pesa account through the KCB paybill number 522522. You can also deposit money to someone else’s account using the same paybill number. You do not need to have a KCB bank account to use the paybill number.

How to Deposit Money From Mpesa Using KCB Paybill Number

To successfully deposit money to a KCB bank account, follow these simple steps;

  1. Go to Sim tool kit or through the app and open
  2. Go to M-pesa and select Lipa na M-pesa
  3. Select paybill
  4. Enter the KCB paybill Number 522522 as the business number
  5. Enter the KCB number where you wish to deposit the funds
  6. Enter the amount you wish to deposit
  7. Enter M-pesa pin.
  8. Confirm the details entered and then send.
  9. You will receive a confirmation message from Safaricom M-pesa and KCB confirming success of the transaction.

How To Register For KCB M-Benki Account USSD Code

To register for KCB M-Benki and be able to access your account through the short code *522#, follow this steps;

  1. Go to MPESA Menu,
  2. Payment Services, Pay Bill Option, Enter Business No. 522522
  3. To enter account, type ID (No Spaces) and your National ID Number e.g. ID23456789
  4. Enter amount to deposit (minimum Kes.10), then your MPESA PIN
  5. You will receive two SMS’s. One with your M-Benki Account Number and the other with your User ID and PIN.
  6. Access the account through *522# and enjoy all KCB MobiBank services.

How To Withdraw Money From KCB To Mpesa Using USSD Code

You can withdraw money directly from your KCB account to your mobile phone or to someone else’s phone. For you to access these services, you need to have registered for the KCB M-Benki services. Visit the KCB branch near you to register.

To withdraw money from your KCB account follow these steps;

  1. Dial the KCB Bank USSD code, *522#.
  2. Enter your M–Benki pin.
  3. You will be directed to the KCB M-Benki menu
  4. Select the MyKash option.
  5. Select the M-pesa option.
  6. Select if you want to send the money your M-pesa number or to another M-pesa number.
  7. Enter the amount which you want to withdraw. M-pesa limits do apply.

You will get a confirmation message shortly on success of your transaction.
