It is a community-based institution that was established in 2004 and registered in 2005 with the aim of providing thrift among its members by giving them an opportunity to save thus creating a source of funds from which loans can be made available at low-interest rates. The Sacco has its members drawn from different parts of the country majority of whom are from Kajiado county.
How To Become A Member
The following are the requirements needed to become a member of the Sacco
- Registration fee of 600 shillings
- Copy of ID
- Colored passport size photo
- The minimum monthly share contribution is 100 shillings
- The minimum monthly BOSA deposit is 500 shillings
