NewForties Sacco was formerly Nyeri Teachers’ Sacco and was started in 1976 with a membership of 857 drawn from the teaching fraternity( Primary schools, Secondary schools, and Tertiary institutions). The society has amended its laws to open up membership to include other civil servants all over Kenya and expanded its catchment areas to other countries. As of December 2021, membership stood at 17,720 members. The main objective is to mobilize members’ savings and grant loans to our members at affordable interest rates.
