Prime-Time Sacco (Formally Keiyo Teachers Sacco) was registered on 15th August 1995 after the liquidation of the Keiyo Marakwet Teachers Sacco. It operated as a Back Office up to the year 2003 when it started a Front Office Services Activity.
The Sacco was a brainchild of development concerned leaders who wished to form a district-based society to improve the welfare of their members. The Sacco started with 1,400 members and its current membership stands at over 2,700 drawn mainly from current and former members of TSC, BOG employees, and KNUT among others.
