The Cooperative University is a relatively new public university in Kenya having received its charter in 2016. As such, the university has not been able to develop many post graduate courses liker her peers like University of Nairobi or Kenyatta University.
How ever the university is committed to expanding its offerings and will offer more Ph.D. programs in future. Currently, the following Doctor of Philosophy programmes are offered.
1. Doctor of Philosophy in Co-operative Business (Ph.D.)
- The minimum requirements shall be a master’s degree in the field of co-operative or
- Business-related field from an accredited education institution or completion of KNQF level 9.
2. Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration Programme (Ph.D.)
- Be a holder of Master’s Degree in Business Administration from CUK or its equivalent from a recognized institution/ University; or
- Be a holder of a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline from CUK or its equivalent from a recognized institution/university; or
- Completion of KNQF level 9.
