Gusii Mwalimu Sacco is a member owned and member -controlled institution offering various financial products and services at low interest rates. It was started in1977 but began operations in 1979.The membership currently stands at over 31 000 members drawn from various organizations including but not limited to; NGO employees, Civil servants, lecturers and university staff from both public and private universities among others.
How To Become A Member Of Gusii Mwalimu Sacco
An applicant should pay an entrance fee of 1000 shillings to be accepted into membership.
NOTE;
- Rejoining fee is 1000 shillings
- Minimum deposit contribution is 1000 shillings
- Eligibility for loan is after 6 months of membership with regular contributions
- Burial benevolent fund contribution of 200 shillings for members within the common bond
- Members share capital is 20 000 shillings
