Joinas Sacco was formerly known as Kiambaa Dairy Rural Sacco Limited and was registered in November 1999 with the aim of mobilization of savings for the purpose of lending to its members. The main objective that led to its formation was to transform the living standards of the members through education, mobilization of savings and lending at affordable rates. From just 20 members the Sacco has grown to more than 7000 members
